FAQs

What is CHILD PLUS AFRICA?

We are a not for profit charity focused on poor and less privileged kids in Africa. We believe in the right of every Child to education, food, shelter, healthcare, protection and mentorship. It is a most difficult task but we believe its possible.

Why should I volunteer?

We have an organisational structure demanding adults with skills and compassion to make our mission a reality. Since we cannot afford to pay for work necessary, we ask that persons offer their time, skill and resources for free.

Why should I make a donation?

Crucial to our work is funding. Be it a dollar or a million dollars, it provides for the planned projects, recurrent expenditure and emergencies of kids. We cannot succeed without funding.

How do I contact CHILD PLUS AFRICA?

We have our team, social media contacts, address, phone numbers available on our HOME page. Some channels are available always while others at specific periods.

What major challenges do your kids face?

Abuse, neglect, starvation, sickness, homelessness, child labour, illiteracy and lots more. They are usually emergencies that require immediate attention.

How do you ensure credibility in the use of funds?

We have duly complied with the regulations of EFCC as a registered corporate entity. We have a board of trustees, patrons and an established accounting audit firm who combined provide regular checks and balances for all our expenditure. Yearly we present to all of them detailed accounts for due appraisal.

Are you duly registered with the Government?

Yes, in September, 2017

Do you have a physical office?

Yes, we do. Check the address on the HOME page of our website.

What are the future projects planned?

We intend to build and manage a School, a skill acquisition centre, library, orphanage, health centre and a play park.

Do you cater for Women?

Yes. We focus on single mothers in desperate needs that make them incapable of fulfilling their primary duties to their children.
